New York Yankees Baseball Debuts On The Legendary Sports Radio WFAN With 10 Game Pre-Season Schedule Beginning On Thursday, Feb. 27

CBS RADIO’s Sports Radio WFAN, the nation’s first all-sports radio station and the most listened to of its kind, is ready to begin its first year of a multi-year contract as the flagship station of the New York Yankees beginning with live coverage of the team’s pre-season match-up versus the Pirates on Thursday, Feb. 27 (1:05PM, ET) from Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla.  Sports fans can tune in to the broadcasts at WFAN-AM 660, or WFAN-FM 101.9.


WFAN’s broadcast team is led by John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman, who are entering their 10th season together behind the microphone, with Sweeny Murti providing commentary during the station’s pre- and post-game shows broadcast before and after all regular-season contests.  Joe Girardi will be featured during the pre-game “Manager’s Report,” and Thursdays at 5:05PM with Mike Francesa on “Mike’s On.”
