Shows to Focus on Pro, College and Fantasy Football
CBS Sports Radio today announced the new weekend programming schedule in anticipation of the upcoming football season. Broadcasting around the clock national sports coverage from a wide range of personalities on 330 affiliate stations across the country, fans can listen to CBS Sports Radio on-air, streaming online at www.cbssportsradio.com or by downloading the Radio.com app for mobile devices.
Beginning on Saturday, Sept. 5, CBS Sports Radio anchor Rich Ackerman hosts EYE ON COLLEGE FOOTBALL each week from 12:00Noon-8:00PM, ET. Ackerman gives listeners the latest updates from all of the top college football games, as well as interviews with coaches, players, writers, broadcasters and more.
Continuing the Saturday evening programming, EYE ON FANTASY FOOTBALL will be co-hosted by CBSSports.com senior fantasy football writers Adam Aizer, Dave Richard and Jamey Eisenberg on a rotating basis. From 10:00PM- 12:00Midnight, ET, the show will broadcast from the CBS Sports Radio studios in New York and the CBSSports.com studios in Fort Lauderdale, and air on various CBS RADIO local sports stations including WFAN (New York), 670 The Score (Chicago) 560WQAM (Miami), and more.
On Sunday mornings, SUNDAY MORNING FOOTBALL featuring Damon Amendolara, CBS Sports Radio host, can be heard from 9:00-11:00AM, ET. Beginning Sunday, Sept. 13, the program will preview the day’s football games, as well as recap the college football games from earlier in the week. Sports talk show host Amendolara, known by his fans as D.A., regularly hosts CBS Sports Radio’s popular evening program, “The D.A. Show” weeknights from 6:00-10:00PM, ET.
Also starting Sunday, Sept. 13, CBS Sports Radio will simulcast CBSSports.com’s FANTASY FOOTBALL TODAY from 11:00AM-12:00Noon, ET. The program will be hosted by CBSSports.com host/anchor Ryan Bass, and provide late breaking fantasy football news and updates.
Finally, beginning on Sunday, Sept. 13, Ackerman will host EYE ON FOOTBALL. The show provides the latest scores and news from every game as well as interviews and more, airing from 12:00Noon-8:00PM, ET.
