CBS RADIO Names Tony Mennuto Vice President, Branded Content Solutions

CBS RADIO has named Tony Mennuto Vice President, Branded Content Solutions.  In this position, Mennuto will develop unique audio and video marketing opportunities for advertisers that can be distributed across a variety of platforms, building awareness and increasing brand recognition.  Among his responsibilities will be to create entertaining and experiential storytelling programs that leverage the broadcast reach and expertise of CBS RADIO.  The appointment is effective immediately.

Mennuto will report to Rich Lobel, Executive Vice President and CMO, Altitude Group, CBS RADIO’s team of local engagement experts tasked with helping Fortune 500 brands connect with consumers using its 117 stations and live events platform, along with assets from CBS Television Stations, and CBS Local Digital Media.

Prior to joining CBS RADIO, Mennuto served as CCO and Founder of MisterFace, an eclectic content creation company staffed by advertising experts, improv comedians and entertainment writers.  Under his leadership, MisterFace created recognized campaigns for top brands including Burger King, FIAT, Virgin America, Coca Cola, Ad Council, Geico, and more.

From 2002-09, Mennuto was the Executive Creative Director of Sound Lounge.  While there, he built the company’s Radio, Casting, and Creative Service divisions.

Mennuto’s work has been recognized by The One Show, The Mercury Awards, Best Ads Of The Week, and The London International Awards.  He speaks regularly at industry conferences including ad:tech, Digital Hollywood, and SXSW, where he discussed the importance of humor in content with the infamous “Honey Badger.”

Before his life in marketing, Mennuto was a successful television comedy writer, producer and actor for major television networks including HBO, NBC, ESPN, VH1, and CBS.

He lives in New York with his wife, and daughter.
