CBS Local Digital Media Kicks-Off Wide Range Of Pro Football Coverage Including Exclusive Editorial, And Original Audio And Video Content Available On

CBS Local Digital Media is lining up its special teams to bring pro football fans a variety of insightful and entertaining programming, and can’t miss analysis seven days a week during the 2013 season.  Live and on-demand coverage has kicked-off on Fan Sports Live and across CBS Local websites in 24 markets nationwide.

The online websites will offer in-depth previews and analysis of every game, as well as headlines and trending storylines, blogs, live scoring, schedules, photo galleries, and stadium guides.  Additionally, football fans can listen live to any of CBS RADIO’s more than two dozen all-sports stations such as WFAN-AM/FM in New York, WSCR-AM in Chicago, WBZ-FM in Boston and WXYT-FM in Detroit.  Visitors to Fan Sports Live can also find the following original video series, and a complete archive of interviews and the latest shows:

Tailgate Fan – Join host Jerry Miller as he travels to a different stadium week after week in search of the best tailgate.  The online video series highlights everything that happens at these pre-game rituals from the cooking, consumption and bragging about the best food and drink, to the head to head football matchups that emerge in the parking lot.  New episodes are posted Wednesdays and can be watched on-demand online or on the companion Tailgate Fan mobile app for tablets and smartphones.

Player Style Files – The show for the fan who wants to know what their favorite NFL player is like off the field.  From fashion to food, what they like to do in their spare time, and the cars they like to drive – no topic is off limits.  Player Style Files is where audiences can get up close and personal with today’s top athletes and new entrants into the league.  Check out the latest episode every Monday.

Sports Verdict – Every Thursday, you are the jury in the Sports Verdict, with WCBS-TV’s Otis Livingston as the judge of this clash of opinions by noted sports experts.  Five lucky fans also get the chance to weigh in with their opinion via online video and ultimately decide who has made the better argument on the week’s hottest topic in sports.

Pre-Game Playlist – Is it Daft Punk, Robin Thicke or Jay-Z on the playlist of the NFL’s biggest stars?  Find out on Fridays which artists and songs serve to excite players for practice, on game day or as they travel to their next road game.

And for those fans who think they know their football better than anyone else, the free Knockout Pool and Pro Football Challenge are just two ways they can test their knowledge each week of the season for a chance to win great prizes.
